Christmas Terms and Conditions

When it comes to our Christmas event, our busy elves run on a tight schedule to make sure Santa can meet as many families as possible! To keep the whole process running smoothly, there are a few important rules and booking conditions that we ask all our visitors to follow.

BOOKINGS

Due to extremely high demand and limited availability, our Santa's Grotto tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to make your booked date, our booking elves will work with you wherever possible to move your date and time, dependant on our availability. This can become very limited, so we advise getting in touch as soon as possible.

To book in to see Santa, your grotto space must be booked in advance. It is very unlikely that we will have spaces available on the day, so we cannot guarantee we will be able to fit you in.

TIMESLOTS

Visitors with early or late timeslots should be aware of the park's opening hours, which is 9:45am - 7pm every day. All other activities and attractions will open and close at these times. If you have an evening timeslot (e.g. 6:40pm) it is important that you arrive at the park earlier to make use of the other activities on offer.

The timeslot you have booked is your allocated time to ride the North Pole Express directly to the Grotto. You should arrive at the park no later than 10-20 minutes before this timeslot. After the train ride, you will exit directly at the grotto, where an elf will provide the children with activities whilst you wait your turn to enter. When you enter the grotto, your time with Santa will last 5 minutes. The whole experience should last approximately 20 minutes.

Each timeslot can consist of up to 8 people. If there are more than 8 people in your party, you have two options:

  1. If there are more adults than children in your party  (e.g. 3 children, 6 adults) and you feel that 5 minutes for the children to speak to Santa is sufficient, make sure all the children's spaces are booked. Any additional adults can be booked in on the day to share the timeslot. It is more important for us to have the children's names and ages in advance so that the elves can arrange gifts.

  2. If there are more children than adults in your party (e.g. 6 children and 4 adults), you will require two timeslots to make sure that Santa has adequate time to speak to every child. Please book two timeslots together to ensure that you can have this extra time.

If you are running late for your timeslot, you must make us aware of this as soon as possible. Our elves will try their hardest to accommodate you wherever possible however spaces are very limited so please be aware if you are late for your selected time slot there is no guarantee we will be able to provide you with another space. You must phone the office to discuss your options, or visit the elves at the grotto directly.

GIFTS

Our gifts are specially selected by our elves who help to manage the farm park's toy shop. When booking, we ask for your child's age and this is to make sure they receive a gift that is age appropriate to them. It is not possible to select your gift in advance. If you would like to speak to someone about gift suitability, please contact us prior to your visit at info@headsofayrfarmpark.co.uk

OTHER ATTRACTIONS

Also included in your visit is soft play, visits to the animal barn, Christmas stories, crafts, and other themed activities. Some of these activities may run at specified times. These times will be clearly displayed at the ticket desk, and on the boards in the Play Barn, where these activities will take place. It is important that if you have a later timeslot, you arrive at the park earlier to make use of these facilities before they close for the day.
