We have two new residents in the park and can't wait to share the news with you! Some clues in the meantime: we've never had this animal before, and they are native to Africa. Why not take a guess?

We’re hiring Chefs of all levels! 🧑‍🍳

The award-winning Heads of Ayr Farm Park is recruiting chefs to join our team! We offer family-friendly working hours (approx. 9am – 5pm), with full and part-time roles on offer across three busy catering outlets where we serve a variety of food to suit all tastebuds and dietary requirements with ever-changing daily specials and seasonal ingredients. 🍽️

We welcome applications from all, but ask that interested applicants take note of the following information before applying.

✅ Candidates should…
- Ideally have some experience in busy kitchens, although training can be provided
- Have reliable transport, as public transport to the park can be limited
- Must be available to work weekends and school holidays
- Be ready to start in mid-March

📋 Key responsibilities…
- Manage a section of the kitchen
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Ensure consistent quality and food presentation

✍🏻 Role requirements…
- An eagerness to learn
- Reliability with good timekeeping
- Ability to use your own initiative
- A strong team player
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-volume kitchen
